Saptha Mokshapuras in India

                                  Ayodhyā Mathurā Māyā Kāsi Kāñchī Avantikā I
                                  Dwaraka Dvārāvatī chaiva saptaitā moksadāyikāh
              Saptha Mokshapuras are seven holy places in India. Every Hindu is must see these places in their life. Moksha means one's soul unites into the aternal. These are spread all over India. At this places masters or the religious important persons take birth.

1. Ayodhya: 
  • It is the Birth place of Lord Srirama. It is on the bank of river Sarayu. It is in Uttar Pradesh State, It is 200kms away from Varanasi, 600kms from New Delhi and 135kms from Lucknow. It is also one the 108 Divya Desams. Ramajanma Bhoomi (Birth Place of Rama), Hanuman Garhi, Kanaka Mahal, Nageswarnath Temple, Swarg Dwar, Chiti Devkali Mandir, Kale Ram Mandir and so many temples are here to visit. 
2. Madhura
  • It is the Birth place of Lord Srirama. It is on the bank of river Yamuna. It is also in Uttar Pradesh State. It is 160kms from New Delhi on Agra route, 60kms from Agra. It is also one the 108 Divya Desams. Kesavdevji Temple (Birth place of Krishna), Vishram Ghat, Banke Bihari Temple, Brundavan, Govardhan, Gokulam and so many Temples are there to visit.  
3. Haridwar 
  • It is the place the river Ganga descends to plains from Himalayas. It is on the bank of river Ganga. It is also in Uttar Pradesh State. It is 210kms away from New Delhi. This is the one of the 4 Kumbhamela Palces, this biggest festival is celebrated here once in every 12 year. Thousands of Ashramas are here. Har ki pauri ghat, Chandi Devi Temple, Manasa Devi Temple, Mayadevi Temple, Daksha Yagna Sthal which is in Kankal, Bharath Matha Mandir and so many temples and places are here to visit.
4. Varanasi 
  • It is the very ancient city. It is also on the bank of river Ganga. It is also in Uttar Pradesh State. It is 800kms from New Delhi, 120kms from Allhabad. It is one of the 12 Jyothirlingas and one of the 18 Sakthi Peethas. Ganga has here 64 Ghats, these are so secred and popular. Manikarnika Ghat, Dasaswamedha Ghat, Harischandra Ghat, Panchaganga Ghat these are very important ghats. Viswanath Temple, Annapoorna Temple, Visalakshi Temple, Kal bhairav Temple, Dundi Ganapathy Temple, Durga devi Temple, Sankat mochan Hanuman Temple and so many important temples are there to visit.
5. Kanchipuram 
  • It is called as temple city. It is on the bank of river Vedavathi. It is in Tamilnad State. It is 72kms away from Chennai and 102kms from Thirupathi. Adi Sankara charya set here 'Kanchi peetham'. Ekambareswar Swamy, Varadaraja Swamy, Kamakshi Mata and so many Temples are here. And one more thing nearly 14 Divya Desams are here.
6. Ujjain 
  • It is also a very ancient city. It is on the bank of river Kshipra. It is in Madhya Pradesh State. It is 192kms from Bhopal, 56kms from Indore. It is one of the 12 Jyothirlingas and one of the 18 Sakthi Peethas.  This is the one of the 4 Kumbhamela Palces, this biggest festival is celebrated here once in every 12 year. Mahakal Temple, Harasiddi Mata Temple, Gopal Temple, Maha Maya Mandir, Char Dham temple, Ghatkali temple and so so many temples are here.
7. Dwaraka 
  • It is also one of the very ancient city. It is on the bank of ocean Arabian. It is in Gujarath State. It is 442kms from Ahmedabad and 105kms from Porbandar. It is also one the 108 Divya Desams. Adi Sankaracharya established west Pettham is here. Dwarakadesh Temple, Rukmini Mata temple and so many temples are here. Nagesara Jyothirling is near by this city. 

Pancha Dwaraka Kshetras in India

                   Pancha Dwaraka Kshetras are Sri Krishna Temples, these are very important temples for Vaishnavas and also others. These are spread in the states of Gujarath and Rajastan.

1. Dwaraka 
  • Dwarakadheesh Temple a very big temple which was built in about 5th or 6th Century. This temple is in Dwaraka Gujarath. It is 450kms from Ahmedabad, 105kms from Porbandar. It is at the sea shore of Arabian Ocean.
2. Bet Dwaraka
  • Sri Dwarakadeesh Temple is in Bet Dwaraka Gujarath. It is 35kms from Dwaraka, in this 35kms, 32kms travel by road and 3kms by boat mean that the Bet Dwaraka is an island.
3. Dakor
  • Dwarakadeesh (Ranachodrai) Temple is a beautiful one which is at Dakor town in Kaira District in Gujarath State. It is 92kms away from Ahmedabad, 62kms from Vadodara.
4. Nathdwara
  • Srinathji Temple, It was built in14th century, the idol of krishna is 7years age balakrishna. It is at Nathdwara in Rajsamand dostroct Gujarath, it is 52kms from Udaipur.
5.. Kankroli
  • Dwarakadeesh Temple is at Kankroli in Rajsamand District Rajastan, which is 2kms away from Rajsamand, 68kms from Udaipur, 17kms from Nathdwara.

Pancha Bhootha Lingas in India

           As we know this world is established with the Panch Boothas (Five Elements). They are 1. Pruthvi (Earth) 2. Jalam (Water) 3.Agni (Fire) 4.Vaayu (Air) 5.Akash (Sky). For these five booths five Siva Lingas are there in South India. Details of them are here.

1. PRUTHVI LINGAM
  • It is in Kanchipuram which is in Tamilanad State, It is 72kms from Chennai and 107kms from Tirupati. EKAMBARESWARA TEMPLE is the first one. It is a very big temple and sculpture  also so beautiful.
2. JALA LINGAM
  • Iis in Jambukeswaram, which is also in Tamilanad State, it is 9kms from Tiruchirapalli (Trichi) and 2kms from Srirangam. JAMBUKESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE is the second one. This is also So big temple.
3. AGNI LINGAM
  • It is in Thirumannamalai which is also in Tamilnad State, it is 140kms from Kanchipuram, 85kms from Vellore and 190kms from Chennai. ARUNACHALESWAR TEMPLE is the third one. It is also a very very big temple.
4. VAYU LINGAM
  • It is in Kalshasti which is in Andhra Pradesh State, It is 40kms from Tirupathi, 100kms from Nellore. SRIKALAHASTI SWAMY TEMPLE is the fourth one. This is also very big temple.
5. AKASH LINGAM
  • It is in Chidambaram which is in Tamilnad State, it is 235kms from Chennai, and 72kms from Kumbakonam. NATARAJA SWAMY TEMPLE is the fifth one. It is also big temple.
