In kerala state, near earnakulam, angamali, from their lord shankara charya birth place is there. where kanaka dhara strothram tookplace, where golden almas rain fall for poor lady house temples where lord shankara took bisha (i.e. begging) where shanka mutt is there, the lake is also there for sanyasa deesha, crokadyl holding one. Please include this one in the kerala temples. (ramaraju sitarama anjaneyulu sharma) it is very near to earnakulam, it is not covered in kerala temples,
The birth place of Shri Adi Shankaracharya is Kalady. It is near Ernakulam, as you rightly pointed out. Shankaracharya Vijay Stupam depicting the life history of Shankara is worth seeing.
